Who can apply
Be a for-profit small business headquartered in Kansas. Meet all federal SBIR/STTR eligibility requirements. Fewer than 500 employees. Conduct at least 51% of Phase I research activities in Kansas. Maintain 51% of operations within the state of Kansas for the duration of the project. Phase I applicants must have received official notification of a federal Phase I SBIR/STTR award.
