This Privacy Policy explains how Business Chain LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Business Chain", "we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use businesschain.us (the "Site"). Business Chain is a platform that helps startup founders find accelerator programs and grants, and that helps accelerators and grant programs reach founders. 1. Information you give us
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form, never in plain text).
When you list a startup project, we collect the information you submit about it: title, description, category, stage, region, website, funding sought, team information, and traction/metrics. Any of this you choose to include is used to show your project on the Site and to power the accelerator/grant matching described below.
If you contact support or submit a service request, we collect what you send us (name, email, phone, message).

2. Information collected automatically
We collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) to operate and secure the Site. We use a small number of first-party cookies, described in our Cookie Policy, strictly to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and display your project listing.
- To match your project against our catalog of accelerator and grant programs, and, for subscribers, to notify you by email about new matching programs.
- To generate, at your request, an AI-assisted draft application/pitch summary for a specific project and a specific accelerator or fund ("Единая заявка"), using the project information you provided. This draft is a starting point for you to review and edit; you decide whether and how to submit anything based on it.
- When you publish a project, we may automatically generate a short blog article announcing the listing, using only the information you provided in your project description. We do not invent facts about your team or traction that you did not provide.
- To process subscription payments (see Section 4).
- To respond to support requests and service inquiries.
- To keep the Site secure and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. We do not store your full card number on our servers. Stripe receives the billing information you provide at checkout and processes it under its own privacy policy. We store only your subscription status, plan, and renewal date to manage your access.

5. AI processing
Project data you submit may be sent to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude AI model) solely to generate the application drafts and articles described above. We only send the fields relevant to the specific feature you used (for example, your project's description, stage, team, and traction fields), never your account password or payment details.

6. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Site (hosting, email delivery, payment processing via Stripe, AI processing via Anthropic), under obligations to protect it.
- Government or legal authorities when required by law.
Project information you choose to publish (title, description, category, stage, team, traction, etc.) is public by design, since the purpose of listing a project is for accelerators, grant programs, and other visitors to see it.

7. Data retention
We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@businesschain.us; we will delete it except where we are required to retain records (for example, payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@businesschain.us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
