Camp runs twice a year. The Spring session runs March through May, with applications open December to January. The Fall session runs August through November, with applications open June to July. The page lists Fall 2025 as the next Camp and says application is now open for AI Camp: The New Agent Economy.
Camp is a cohort-based investment and product development programme for early-stage startups building in frontier technologies. Each session runs 12 weeks in residence at Betaworks and gives access to help with product development, platform strategy, data science, branding and fundraising, plus the Betaworks team and network. Teams finish with a Demo Day pitch to investors.

- Early-stage startups building in frontier technologies. Each Camp session has a theme, and the page says the current Fall '25 theme is Interfaces. A product is not required, but a demo, beta or Figma is highly encouraged. Applications are accepted from companies anywhere in the world, but teams must take part in person for specific portions of the programme.
- Residency requirements
- Teams must participate in person for the first and final two weeks and are encouraged to stay in NYC for the entire session. Participants pay their own travel and housing costs.

- We don't charge anything to participate in Camp.
