Askdm
AskDM is an AI Paralegal for the technical preparation of immigration documents. The platform combines educational resources, automated document packet assembly, and the option to work with an independent attorney. The Problem Preparing an immigration filing packet involves substantial administrative work: formatting the applicant’s narrative, organizing supporting documents, creating a table of contents, and assembling the materials into a single packet. Self-filing applicants struggle with document preparation, while attorneys and paralegals spend time on repetitive tasks that could otherwise be devoted to substantive casework. How AskDM Works Applicants review educational materials, describe their circumstances, and independently determine which documents to include and how to organize them. When used by a law firm, preparation is directed by an attorney or paralegal. AskDM uses the supplied information and user-defined structure to create an editable draft packet, including a title page, table of contents, exhibit list, and draft petition presenting the applicant’s statements in the third person. Users review the packet, confirm which materials to include, and make revisions. The platform is designed to separate technical processing from legal decision-making. It organizes supplied content without adding new facts, selecting an immigration category, or determining eligibility under legal criteria. For Attorneys and Law Firms AskDM automates some of the technical tasks typically performed by paralegals and helps standardize packet preparation. The legal team determines the content and strategy, receives an editable draft, and conducts the final review. The goal is to reduce administrative costs per case and increase team capacity. For Self-Filing Applicants Educational resources based on official sources help users prepare their information and organize their documents. After technical assembly, applicants can share the draft with an independent attorney for legal assessment, revisions, and further representation. A planned network of participating attorneys across immigration practice areas will connect independent preparation with professional legal assistance. Attorneys receive previously organized materials, while applicants can discuss the scope and cost of further services in light of the preparation already completed. Current Stage and Development Free tools and educational resources are available at askdm.com in English, Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish. They are used by individuals and immigration attorneys. The next stage is a full SaaS platform with a portal for legal teams. Planned revenue streams include usage-based processing fees tied to document volume, subscriptions, and white-label licensing for law firms. Team and Technology The project was founded by a document preparation specialist with hands-on experience preparing immigration documents and working as an immigration attorney’s assistant. AskDM combines this experience with multilingual document processing and AI automation of a specialized workflow. AskDM is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Individual legal assessments, legal arguments, and strategy remain the responsibility of a licensed attorney or another authorized legal representative.

74 match on paper. Which ones actually fit?

Matching on industry, stage and region is a first filter, not an answer. The subscription tells you which programmes are worth your time, why, and where you are likely to be turned down.

  • An AI reads the whole catalogue against your project and ranks it with a reason for each programme — and the concerns, not just the upside
  • Paste the questions from a programme's own form and get a draft answered from your project
  • An email when a new programme that fits opens, or a deadline comes close
